Special PTO Meeting

The Monroe School PTO is excited to share the Bet on Monroe Fundraiser raised $83,269! During the event, the Monroe Community generously raised their bidding paddles. We are excited to officially announce that we raised enough money to purchase not only an additional basketball hoop but also the zip line!

Per the Monroe School PTO bylaws, Article VII Meetings states:

Any expenditure of $400 over the budgeted amount, or any expenditures not budgeted, shall be approved by the members at a regular or special meeting.

The Special General PTO Meeting is on Tuesday, May 31st at 7:00pm via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the meeting. At this special meeting, we will vote on spending $36,804 to replace the 3rd basketball hoop as well as installing a new zip line on the playground. (At the Spring General Meeting, it was voted on and approved to replace two of the three basketball hoops that currently exist.)
