Safety Reminder and Thank you from Mr. Horne

It was great seeing so many people at the 5K this past Sunday. Thank you to our committee and for everyone’s involvement. I also want to thank everyone for their patience on Friday, September 27th. We had an exciting afternoon with a power outage and then some delays due to weather at dismissal. The last student got picked up about 20 minutes after the bell, which wasn’t bad considering the conditions. Of course the power came back on at that exact moment!

As a safety reminder, please make sure students are being dropped off at proper arrival times. This would be no earlier than 8:25 for typical arrival and at the designated times for morning clubs such as choir, band and orchestra. Students should not come early and be on the playground or other areas that aren’t designated as line up spots. Thank you for your help! – Mr. Horne
