Happy New Year! Stock the Lounge is still going strong. If you would like to donate drinks, snacks, fruit, veggies for our staff to enjoy during the school day please do. The sign up genius link is here. Simply select items, drop them off at the school office or send in with your child by the date requested.
Even though we designated a grade per month you may donate any month(s) you'd like. This is a great way to shower our teachers and staff during these cold winter days.

The Monroe Chess Club is Back! All new Lessons, Games, Worksheets, and Tournaments! ✨🐎♟️✨

Welcome all new and current students! All students are invited to try the first meeting for free, and chess club members are encouraged to bring a friend or two. Classes are more fun when you can play with your friends or make new ones. Beginners Welcome! (No prior knowledge of chess is required)

Announcing the 2024-2025 Monroe Yearbook Cover Contest - Due by Monday, 1/27/2

Calling all artists! Submit your art to be considered for the 2024-2025 Monroe Yearbook cover. We will have a NEW front cover winner for this year. All submissions will be included in the yearbook - either as a runner up or part of our submission collage pages.

See attached FLYER for rules and suggestions for your submission. There will be a bin in the front office to turn in your art. Good luck, Mustangs!

Science Fair is Back!

Science Fair is back! Verbal details about the event were given to the kids on Friday. Deadline to signup HERE is 1/16. (Apologies for the short notice) This year’s themes will be: Grades KG-2: Circle of Life – Discover how plants and animals grow, survive, and adapt to their environments. Grades 3-5: Nature in Action – Forces that shape our world, explore gravity, friction, and motion. Please note the kids are not under any obligation to participate along theme lines. Monroe girls get ready to dance the night away at the Sweetheart Dance! The dance will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 7-9pm at Hinsdale Golf Club.

Monroe students and any caregiver/guardian are welcome. Tickets are $45/person and include music by DJ Maximus, dancing, desserts, and more!
