Get Your S.T.E.A.M. Kits Before Registration Closes on Monday, February 22nd!
Monroe’s Season of S.T.E.A.M. continues with hands-on science project kits that you can work on at home. The kits are appropriate for students of all ages to conduct a fun science activity. All of the materials that you need will be included in the kit, as well as step-by-step instructions and a description of the scientific principles involved.
We are offering two kits:
1) Color Detective: Chromatography Experiment – create cool art while learning about an important chemical and biological analytical tool.
2) Medieval Engineer: Catapult Experiment – learn how to make your own version of this ancient weapon, and discover all about the different types of energy involved.

Minecraft Hour of Code
Thank you to the Hinsdale Library’s Jennifer Susina and Sarah Jane Nordan for hosting last week’s Minecraft Hour of Code event as a part of Monroe’s Season of S.T.E.A.M. Students can continue their coding journey by visiting HERE. Also, the HINSDALE LIBRARY will be hosting monthly Hour of Code events on different topics – keep an eye out for them!
