Join other Monroe families as we give back to the community! This committee offers students and parents a variety of ways to donate time and talent to help those in our community who need it. The committee’s goal is to engage children in fundraising and volunteering.
Monroe Cares is planning a drive on Wednesday, October 12th, in support of the O’Brien School for the Maasai. This school is run by one of our Monroe neighbors! To learn more about the organization CLICK HERE. Donations will be accepted in the office through October 19th.
The group is asking for:
- Backpacks (new or gently used)
- Sneakers (new or gently used)
- Jackets/Sweaters
- Costco Oatmeal
- Pasta and ramen
- Soap
- Children’s books and coloring books
All donations will be sent to Africa on a container ship later in October. If you have donations ready before our collection date or have any questions, please reach out to [email protected]pto.

- Halloween candy drive November 1st – 4th benefitting Soldiers Angels. Stay tuned for additional information!
- Blankets for Bayan will take place in January 2023.
